    Wow! What a powerful fragrance, pity that it smells like a toilet cleaner, all pine; no Basil, Patchouli or Geranium. No wonder that it was on special offer in Tesco’s. Think I’ll stick with Aldi’s home fragrance range, their #1 with the Lime is divine.

    I purchased this Chef’s diffuser from Waitrose.

    I loved the smell of this so much but was so disappointed that after spending £10 on it it didn’t even last two weeks!

    Unfortunately although I loved the smell I won’t be buying again as it costs too much money when it only lasts two weeks!

    Absolutely love the smell of these diffusers, they smell wonderfully fresh but very disappointed by how long they have lasted. I purchased 2 of them and they are both completely empty in less than 3 weeks! I have previously bought the open window reed diffuser and this lasted much longer so maybe this was a faulty batch. Sadly will not repurchase as they are far too expensive for the amount of time they last.

    Purchased this as a treat geranium & patchouli are two of my favourite essential oils. Wish I had read the reviews first SO DISAPPOINTED it smells like very cheap pine toilet cleaner, only had it open for an hour & couldn’t stand the overpowering chemical smell any more. I use other makes of Reed defusers all the time, thankfully found the stopper in the recycle bin which is where the whole lot has ended up now total waste of money. If I could give it a no star review I would.

    Bought the Chef’s Reed Diffuse from Tesco.. Found it overwhelmingly unpleasant chemical smell. No basil, patchouli or geranium smell and very disappointed.

    I bought the Chef’s Reed Defuser and absolutely loved the smell, so 5 stars for that….unfortunately as others have reported, it does not last long, especially when you compare it to others that are half, or in some cases a quarter of the price, like Aldi’s # 24, which is only £3.99. It is the first time I have bought a Price’s Candles Reed Defuser, and unless I got a faulty batch that did not last as long, I have to rate it as 1 star, because of this.

    This is a very good product, but is too expensive and does not last as long as other makes.

    The smell is lovely and fresh but I have to agree with the others about the length of time it lasts! I’ve had mine open a week and it’s already nearly half way down which is very disappointing!

    I bought 2 of these and I absolutely love the smell, however I have to agree with other reviews they lasted for an incredibly short length of time, one lasted just 2 weeks and the other lasted for a few more days but was finished by 3 weeks.

Delivery should be 3-5 working days from point of order. We aim to dispatch all orders within 3 working days of receiving them and orders may take up to 5 working days for delivery.

Please note that we are not open on weekends or public holidays.

Your order will be delivered by Parcelforce or Royal Mail. Depending of the information you supply Parcelforce may use your mobile number or landline to send you text alerts or automated telephone call, to advise day and time of your delivery. They may also email you a tracking number which you can track your parcel using the Parcelforce website. This is a service that Parcelforce provides and which we feel is of benefit to you but do not have any control over.

If you have purchased our products from the website would like to return items due to change of mind, or you have received incorrect or damaged items please contact us as soon as possible. This applies only to direct purchases made from Price’s Patent Candles Ltd.

You will need to return items to us that you wish to cancel at your own cost. Once you let us know you would like to cancel, we can advise you on how to return the products.

If you’re returning the entire order and you have paid for delivery, we will refund the cost of Standard Delivery to your country. If you are returning only part of your order, any delivery charge you paid won’t be refunded.

The products you return must be unused and in their original condition.

We will do our best to accept all returns but it is your responsibility to ensure that our products are packed well enough that they will arrive safely and undamaged. Reed Diffuser Safety

General Information

  • Highly flammable liquid and vapour.

  • Keep away from heat/sparks/open flames/hot surfaces – No smoking.
  • IF ON SKIN (or hair): Take off immediately all contaminated clothing. Rinse skin with water/shower.
  • IF IN EYES: Rinse cautiously with water for several minutes. Remove contact lenses, if present and easy to do. Continue rinsing. If skin irritation or rash occurs: Get medical advice/ attention. If eye irritation persists: Get medical advice/attention. Dispose of contents/container up to the local legislation.
  • IF SWALLOWED: Immediately call a doctor.
  • Air Fresheners do not replace good hygiene practices. People suffering from perfume sensitivity should be cautious when using this product.

Understanding the Safety Labels on Your Products

Hazards & Warnings explained

Fragrance oils contain a wide range of ingredients and some of these may cause skin irritation, which could lead to an allergic reaction if the fragrance oil were to come into contact with the skin. The same ingredients or other ingredients might be toxic to aquatic environment. Where these ingredients are found in a high enough concentration, in the final diffuser to be a hazard, then we have to list these on the label. We also have to advise you of how to manage these hazards. This is why you will see diffusers with an exclamation mark and a dead fish symbol followed by ingredients on the label. These are there by law as we have to list them. These are the only 3 possible images you will find on our Price’s diffusers, and, some products have no pictograms triggered at all.

Please be assured, we have taken every precaution to ensure the safety of our customers, and only use fragrance oils which have been vetted and contain the least possible sensitisers and hazards.

All our wax melts and candles are CLP compliant. So what is CLP?

CLP stands for Classification, Labelling & Packaging. It’s a piece of legislation that all candle & diffuser makers have to comply with to sell their products legally in Europe and the UK. In layman terms, we, the manufacturer, have to tell you, the customer, what (if any) the hazards are in our candles, and label them accordingly, so that you can look at the label, and immediately see what, if any, hazards the product presents. The label will include (where necessary) a signal word, image, and hazard statement for each hazard class and category.

Precautionary statements may also be provided. As of June 2015, candles fall into this legislation where they contain fragrance oil. It is not just candles that CLP legislation applies to and you may already have noticed that several household products such as bleach and washing up liquid will have warning labels on them.
