COVID-19 Update

Price’s Patent Candles Ltd knows your business depends on our ability to provide reliable, uninterrupted supply and service, so in light of the recent developments around the Coronavirus disease (COVID-19), we would like to share with you the measures we are taking to ensure service continuity.

As any responsible business we recognise the fact that the recent developments of the COVID-19 virus require us taking the necessary precautions against its spread. We have had no reports of the virus in Price’s Candles, but nonetheless we feel that taking further steps to ensure that remains the case and to re-assure you about our business readiness, in case of any future developments potentially impacting our workforce and our


We are operating under government guidelines and the principle of prevention around COVID-19 and therefore taking the following specific actions:

  • Wherever possible, meetings will be via telephone or video call rather than face-to-face. Any meetings that are face-to-face shall avoid any physical contact, such as handshakes.
  • We are also discussing and monitoring closely with our suppliers to minimise disruption with supply.
  • We have curtailed national and international travel and following all government guidelines with respect to international travel and colleagues returning from travel, either business or personal, from a high-risk area.
  • We undertake regular cleaning of all our offices, and are operating safe distances for contact with others.
  • We have plans in place to provide you with seamless service should any of our colleagues need to work remotely (e.g., due to self-isolation, school closures, etc.)

Thank you for taking the time to read the above, and whilst it is difficult to predict any future developments, our aim is to ensure that we continue to provide you with the quality of service we strive  to deliver in normal circumstances.

Price’s Patent Candles Ltd is a candle maker to Her Majesty the Queen and wholesale and retail distributor of candles and accessories operating from 16 Hudson Road, Elms Farm Industrial Estate, MK41 0LZ.

  • The Managing Director is responsible for the implementation of this policy and will make the necessary resources available to realise our corporate responsibilities

  • We shall promote and encourage suppliers to adopt responsible business policies and practices by introducing a new supplier questionnaire, which encourages businesses to review and advise us of their current practices and policies.
